The Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut provides home modification and repair services to help people stay safe and independent at home. These services include minor home modifications such as the installation of handrails and grab bars. Public funds are available to assist with these modifications
The Department of Aging and Community Living’s Safe at Home Program provides safety adaptations in and around the homes of qualifying residents age 60 years and older as well as individuals with disabilities age 18-59 years old.
